The upcoming 2016 season brings with it change for the London Honda Race Series. After many years of the same, we are making some big changes to offer a new experience, not only to those who have participated in some of our events in the past, but also to those new to the Series. Our 2016 Series will be comprised of six exciting events: Downtown 5k in support of the London Abused Women’s Centre; Run for Retina in support of Ivey Eye Institute; Rock
the Road in support of Bethany’s Hope; Summer Night in support of Bereaved Families; Springbank Road Races in support of YOU; and Halloween Haunting in support of Track 3 Ski School.
We are excited that all events in the Series this year will offer a 5k distance, and two will offer half marathons (Run for Retina, and Springbank Road Races). This will offer an event distance for everyone from beginner to experienced racers. All events also offer shorter distances geared towards families with children looking at getting involved.
Also new this year is that our Halloween event will be held at dusk and will fully embrace the Halloween theme of the event. Come join us for an exciting year of running with the London Honda Race Series. We look forward to seeing you out on the roads!
