It’s dubbed ‘A race series for ALL levels of runners,’ and the London Honda Series, held by Runners’ Choice, certainly stays true to its name. In fact, the Series consists of an impressive collection of five races – spanning from the Really Chilly event in mid-February to the famous Halloween Haunting in late October. In between, Runners’ Choice hosts the Downtown 5K in April, the Summer Night in July, and the well-known Springbank Road Races in September (Sept. 13 this year).

It’s a lot of work putting on a race series, and Brian Hagemeier, the owner of Runners’ Choice, is thankful for the support of London Honda, the event’s title sponsor.

“London Honda has been a great partner, and their support over the past few years has been critical to the success of our series,” Hagemeier said.

The Race Series attracts runners from all over Ontario (as well as some international runners), and continues to deliver great quality running experiences for runners of all levels.

The Springbank event is London’s longest standing running event, as it will celebrate its 48th anniversary this fall. Meanwhile, the Downtown 5K had one of the most competitive fields in Ontario in both 2014 and 2015.

The London Abused Women’s Centre and Bereaved Families are the longest-standing charity partners of the London Honda Race Series, having been partners for 23 and 18 years, respectively.

There’s still time to get involved in the 2015 Race Series. Hope to see you out!
