Back to school time means it’s also time to come back to the dojo! Olympic Karate is kicking off its 34th season in London this fall and is excited to see some new faces learning the skills of karate

When most use the word ‘dojo’, they are referring to the place where martial arts are practiced and learned. Our classes for children are created to be complimentary to the skills and behaviour required to be successful at school. Skills like respect, focus/discipline, courtesy, proper addressing of leaders and teachers, health/ fitness, and concentration are all strongly enforced. It’s important to uphold these skills because the karate has the potential to be harmful to others if used improperly.

Luckily for our students, we have over 30+ years in London teaching karate. We have certified instructors to help maintain safety and teach the importance of using karate as self-defence. As serious as that all sounds, we do have lots of fun in all of our karate classes! September kicks off the start of our 34th season in London, and we have lots to look forward to, including our annual fall Tournament of Champions (open to all levels).

Come in and see the difference karate will make in your life or your child’s life. Fall is an awesome time to sign up, and we welcome anyone – regardless of skill level or experience (ages 4+). Just as it’s time for back to school, it’s also time to come back to the dojo!
