‘Back-to-School’ also means ‘Back-To-Cheerleading’, and the newly expanded Power Cheer Gym is ready for a great season. PCG Viper teams start at 5 years of age (Mini) and run all the way up through Youth (7-11), Junior (11-14), Senior (14-18), and past University to the ‘Open’ division (17- Adult). There are four different levels of competitive teams, and novices are always welcome. The new PCG Special Needs program also starts in September.
The Fall is a great time for athletes, acrobats, dancers and ex-gymnasts who are looking to try a new sport or to get lessons to enhance their other teams or sports. During the Fall, PCG offers over 50 hours per week of flexible lesson times for all ages. The welcome mat is always out for cheerleaders from other programs who want to improve their skills, as well as to former gymnasts who have come to the end of their competitive days. PCG also encourages high school seniors who are hoping to possibly cheer at a university or college after graduation to consider getting on a Viper team now and start training with collegiate-formatted coaches and National team members. PCG has the highest placement rate of graduates onto collegiate teams in Ontario.
Parents will love the huge new elevated viewing loft area, as well as the lobby café-lounge with seating for 40+ parents, full wi-fi access, work tables and comfy chairs to read/relax/recharge in during the practices. It’s never too late to get involved with a team at the Power Cheer Gym, and the fully credentialed, friendly and fun staff and coaches are very excited for ‘Back-To-Cheerleading’ month.
