Early success in Season Seven

The CheerStrike Royals kicked off their 2019-2020 season (‘Season Seven’) with a trip to Sandusky, Ohio to compete at the ‘Very Scary Jamfest’ competition in November. The talented Cheerstrike athletes earned 13 top 3 finishes!

It was an amazing start to CheerStrike’s seventh season! In early November, the Royal Family of cheer travelled to Sandusky, Ohio to compete at the Very Scary Jamfest Competition, held at the Kalahari Resort. This is always an exciting event. Besides the waterslides and wave pool, it was our first time as a gym to take the competition floor and get a taste for what’s in store for Season Seven. Based on our results, things look very bright for the Royal Family!

We left Ohio with two third-place finishes, six second-place finishes, and five first-place finishes. All of the families and coaches were incredibly proud of the accomplishments of our athletes so early in the season. Some special shout outs go to: our first ever Youth level 2 prep team, Eminence, for putting a great performance on the floor; our Junior level 3 team, Nobility, for winning a technique award; our Senior level 5 team, Virtue, for winning their first ever competition in our highest ever level; and our Junior level 2 team, Allegiance, who wowed the crowd at Kalahari.

In the new year, CheerStrike travels to St. Catharines, Ottawa, Florida, Kitchener and Niagara Falls to compete against the best gyms across Canada and the United States. Stay tuned for our results from all of these competitions. Besides competitive cheer, CheerStrike offers a variety of other programs, such as private tumbling lessons, group tumbling classes, tumbling for dancers, ninja and recreational cheer classes.
