The Power Cheer Gym Vipers started off the second half of the 2015-16 competition season with a bang, earning four 1st place finishes at the C-E Winterfest in St Catharines, Ont., and then following up with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd run a week later in Sandusky, Ohio. Between January and April, all nine PCG teams will be active around southern Ontario, as well as a special competition weekend in Orlando for the advanced level squads.

The driving force behind all successful sports programs is the coaching staff, and PCG is extremely proud to have three former members anchoring the various age groups and levels. Despite being one of the younger head coaches, Youth teams director Natalie Mills has been with the Vipers for over a decade. Mills specializes in gymnastics and development of all athletes under the age of 11, and she lays down the foundation on which the older teams build upon. Her exuberant personality and boundless energy make her a favourite of all the kids and parents.

Head of the Junior teams (ages 11-14), is Coach Brandon, the busiest coach at PCG. On top of running the advanced level junior and senior coed teams, he coordinates all camp programs and tumbling classes, and is an administrative member of the Ontario Cheerleading Federation. Senior Coach Garrett Skinn is the longest serving Viper coach, and despite coaching a senior team, an open level team (18+), and co-coaching the National Champion Western All-Girl team, he is highly active with every level of athlete and virtually lives in the gym. He is often the first person a prospective gym member meets when they tour the facility, and he is the person at the counter helping parents outfit their athletes from the pro shop. PCG is extremely proud to have these three outstanding coaches on its staff.

It is never too late to get involved with a team at the PCG, and the fully credentialed, friendly and fun staff and coaches are always welcoming new athletes. Interested athletes/parents are invited to call the gym (519-667-0565) or drop in any day of the week to tour the facility and even participate in a team workout.
