Elite Stars Basketball is an organization in the St. Thomas community offering opportunities to youth, women, and men for recreational and competitive play. It is owned and operated by Jesse Foster.
New to Elite Stars this year is the development of competitive-level youth basketball teams. Current teams provide competitive play opportunities to boys between the ages of 12 and 16 (U14 and U16), and the organization has goals to develop a girls team (and additional boys teams) to meet the community demand for youth basketball.
The Youth House League, which just finished its 11th season, currently offers recreational play to youth between grades 1 to 8. A high school division will be added to the league in the Spring of 2019 for grades 9 to 12, including both men’s and women’s divisions.
The Men’s 35+ Masters League, going into its 5th season, continues to run strong with eight teams, each playing once a week in the Spring season. The Women’s League is currently running its second season, with four teams (and anticipating the addition of two more teams for next Fall). Game recaps and full stats are posted online weekly for the players.
Jesse maintains frontline contact with the parents and participants of his leagues, camps, training, and teams. He is available by phone/text at 519-859-2206 or email at fostersbasketball@gmail.com.
