Have you heard about the ACT-i-PASS?
No? Then keep reading for a great surprise!
The ACT-i-Pass program allows all grade 5 students that live or attend school in the city of London the opportunity to access FREE recreation programs throughout their entire school year. Our partners, including the Boys & Girls Club of London, the YMCA of Western Ontario, and the City of London, open their doors to all London children in Grade 5 who want to try new recreation programs! Students that register for ACT-i-Pass can also bring one friend, family member or chaperone to select programs for free.
What programs are offered?
The Boys and Girls Club opens up all of their drop-in programming during the week. Students will be able to try many different activities, like aikido, gymnastics, and so much more! Check out their website (www.bgclondon.ca) for the full range of programming.
The YMCA is also a great place to be after school. Come and join all the terrific drop-in programs at any of their three locations! You do not need to be a member of the YMCA to access the Act-i-Pass programs. Interested in finding out more? Check out: www.ymcawo.ca.
Are you familiar with Spectrum programs? The City of London offers selected Spectrum programs to ACT-i-Pass users. Check out the Act-i-Pass seasonal calendar on the Middlesex-London in motion™ website (www.inmotion4life.ca). Signing up your child for Spectrum programs is just a phone call away: 519-661-5575.
If you are interested in skating or swimming, the Act-i- Pass can be used at any City of London arena or pool for free. Please check available public skating or swimming times before you go.
Last, but not least, ACT-i-Pass even offers the opportunity to try a round of golf! The Hickory 9 Hole Golf Club offers one free round of golf when you present them with your ACT-i-Pass card.
Getting your child’s ACT-i-Pass is easy!
1) Fill out the ACT-i-Pass registration form, including your mailing address so we can mail the card directly to you. Complete the registration online at www.inmotion4life.ca, or complete and return the registration forms sent home through your child’s school in April to their teacher.
2) Receive your ACT-i-Pass by mail in July – your grade 5 student can start using it right away!
THANK YOU to all of our Community Partners for their continuous support of this program!
