In the south of London, near White Oaks Mall, there is a unique facility for those looking to try something new while being active. The Hood Archery Games opened in November of 2015, and it offers Archery Wars, Nerf Wars, and Flight School.
For those not familiar, Archery Wars is somewhere between laser tag and paint ball – with dodge ball rules. Players are equipped with bows and safe, foam-tipped arrows. In Nerf Wars, competitors are provided with a choice of basic blaster (or they can bring their own), Nerf darts, and goggles to face off in our arena. For both arena activities, players can choose from a dozen different game modes that range from simple elimination style, role-based, and objective style.
Archers are taught the basics of archery, using the foam-tipped arrows in Flight School. After learning proper stance and technique, players get to perfect their new skills while playing a series of fun target-based games.
The 5,000 square foot facility houses an arena for games, a Flight School range, and a seating area that is perfect for hanging out with friends or celebrating a special occasion. With enthusiastic staff who love to have fun, the Hood Archery Games experience is one to remember!
