Dance Extreme is more than just a studio that teaches the technical elements of dance. We strive to empower our dancers to be a part of the larger community and to participate in artistic activities such as (but not limited to) school shows, musicals, choirs, school band concerts, talent shows and local community theatrical productions.
We are very proud to announce that we have six dancers involved in local dance and theatrical performances this Fall in London Ontario.
Isabela Filice and Zoe Lacey will be performing as Flying Monkeys in The Grand Theatre’s upcoming holiday performance of The Wizard of Oz. Both girls auditioned in early August and will be sharing their love of the stage performance with other local youth and a host of professional actors to bring this enchanting adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale to life.
Four other Dance Extreme students will be performing in Canada’s Ballet Jörgen The Nutcracker on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at 7:30pm at Centennial Hall. Emily Brown, Jessica Chanyi, Ava Craig and Grayson Gizdic will be performing various dance roles within this beloved holiday classic.
Dance Extreme takes pride in the quality training that we offer our dancers, and for us to see them being selected to perform in professional shows throughout London and surrounding area truly reinforces how much we are able to give these youngsters to help them grow and develop in the world of the arts.
