The London Skin & SCUBA Club (LSSC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive diver training and social benefits to divers of all abilities and interests.
The LSSC provides comprehensive diver training based on American and Canadian Underwater Certification standards. All of the LSSC instructional staff are volunteers, which allows us to provide comprehensive personalized training to suit anyone’s skill level.
Our 10-week training program provides 15 hours of theory instruction and 15 hours of in-water pool instruction at the Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre in London. The duration of the training program ensures that our graduates are confident, capable, safe and independent divers.
The LSSC provides all students with a tank, buoyancy compensating vest and regulators for the duration of the course. For potential students who are unsure of diving, the LSSC allows potential students to participate in two nights of snorkel instruction and a single ‘discover SCUBA’ night to test out the waters.
