The 2016 season looks to be an exciting one for London St. George’s Rugby Club! Based out of the St. George’s Society fields next to the Trails End Market, the club will look to field four senior teams and five junior teams, and again offers its successful Flag Rugby program for kids aged 6 to 12.
Both Men’s and Women’s teams are always keen to welcome new players of all experience levels! The Senior Men’s team, led by its strong core of Ontario Blues players, returns to the Marshall Championship Division; their season kicks off in early May. The Women’s side will again feature battles against perennial rivals Stoney Creek and Fergus Highland in the Niagara Rugby Union A League, with play set to begin later in May.
The Girls’ under-16 and under-18 teams both placed 4th in Ontario and look to build on this strong base moving forward. On the boys’ side, St. George’s will again field U18, U16 and U14 teams; the boys’ teams compete in the NRU League beginning at the end of June.

The Flag Rugby program continues to grow rapidly (it was founded in 2012). London St George’s offers a house league structure for kids aged 6 to 12, with league play on Friday evenings.
