The team at Preferred Insurance recently participated again this year in the ‘Toonie Tuesday’ program supporting The Thames Valley Education Foundation. The staff at Preferred Insurance turn the occasion into an entire day of fun and fundraising at the office.
Starting with a $2 pancake breakfast, the day then proceeds into a number of toonie draws, an aces wild card game, and a few toonie toss games – all with some fantastic prizes to be won.
The past couple of years, Preferred has also been engaging its clients and the general public to make a donation for a chance to win a pair of tickets in a suite for the London Knights’ first playoff game.
“We love the work and support that is provided by the Thames Valley Education Foundation, so we get on board and involved however we can,” says Peter Carr of Preferred Insurance.
For her part, Jackie Ellefsen, Executive Director at The Thames Valley Education Foundation, says the company’s support is greatly appreciated.
“You know those friends? The ones who are there for you no matter what, and always find a way to lend a helping hand? That’s how we at TVEF feel about our good friends at Preferred Insurance.”
