The London Annihilators have had a busy start to the 2017-18 season! And in the first competition of the year, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Annihilators captured their first tournament victory of the season!
At the team’s next competition in San Diego, the 28th Annual Best of the West Invitational, the Annihilators faced a murderer’s row of opponents. In attendance were the current reigning Olympic gold medalists from Australia, as well as the current American champions from Phoenix. The field was rounded out by the other top American clubs – bolstered by the top imports from all over the world.
The Annihilators finished a respectable 6th place in the tournament and, perhaps most importantly, gained some valuable experience – and playing time – for their developing stars. The future definitely looks bright for the Annihilators!
