2015-16 Fanshawe Women’s and Men’s Soccer Regular Season League Schedule Announced
New Division Alignment and Increased Number of Games Highlight Exciting Varsity Season
(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics, in collaboration with the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA), announced today the Falcons Women’s and Men’s soccer regular season league schedules for the 2015-16 Varsity season.
The Women’s and Men’s teams will open the regular season on Monday, September 14th on the road versus the Conestoga Condors. The Men’s game will mark the debut of new Falcons Head Coach Rob Pereira. The Falcons regular season home opener takes place on Saturday, September 19th versus the Mohawk Mountaineers. The Women play at 12pm and the Men play at 2pm. The following Saturday, September 26th is Falcons Fest at Fanshawe, as the soccer teams host the Conestoga Condors beginning at 12pm. The soccer Provincial Championships will take place on October 30th and 31st, with the Men’s tournament being hosted by Humber College and the Women’s taking place at Fleming College.

The OCAA’s new division alignment for the 2015-16 season is below. The OCAA league schedule has also been expanded and will now see Fanshawe play both home and away games against each opponent in the West Division for a total of 10 league games, an increase of two games from 2014-15.
