Chad Asselstine is a true sports fanatic. You name it – hockey, football, baseball, basketball – and he watches it. The Londoner is also a talented athlete, having played football during his time at Western University. Today, his playing passion is ball hockey.
He’s been playing competitively since 2004, and he has not only excelled in the sport, but he also plays
important administrative roles with a couple of organizations. Asselstine has been with Ball Hockey International (BHi) for eight years, and he currently serves as general manager and director, overseeing play from London to Niagara, as well as some special events.
He’s also the CEO of the Canadian Lacrosse League, which is the stepping stone to the National Lacrosse League
(NLL). He has truly become a builder and developer of sports leagues and organizations. But by no means has he retired from his playing days.
Chad loves getting together with friends and playing in leagues and tournaments. And there are more than a few
exciting 3-game series against tough opponents during his time playing at BHi that he’ll never forget. He’s a true sports nut, to be sure, and he’s found a great organization to be involved with at BHi.
