Adidas, the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and one of the biggest sports brands in the world, has made the move into the world of badminton – and they’ve done it with a smash.
To reach a big chunk of the market (more then 200 million badminton players worldwide), Adidas recruited industry experts from Japan to help with product development. Already, they offer a wide range of products – for all ages and levels, whether players are participating in singles or doubles.
Adidas has long been associated with a high quality of design and manufacturing, and they’ve certainly maintained that track record with their badminton line of products. The intent was to fuse speed and style to produce exciting new products for the sport of badminton. That means designs that are lightweight and made for power, speed and control.
Within Canada, Adidas currently offers eight different racket models, four racket bags, and a variety of different strings. From beginner to expert, there truly is a racket for everyone. And coming next year, the company will be making available badminton-specific shoe models, as well as apparel and shuttlecocks.
