Celebrating 20 years!

“And suddenly you know … it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”

There comes a time in the life of a business where growth is necessary to drive the success of a business and to suit the needs of its customers and families. Dance Extreme began in 1997 when Owner/Artistic Director Rebecca Brettingham-Filice had the vision for her own studio after teaching dance for many years. The school has been successful from the beginning, and September 2017 marks the celebration of the 20th Anniversary.

To celebrate a fabulous 20 years, Dance Extreme could not be more excited to be opening a new location, not far from its current location in Southwest London. A crew of talented designers, engineers and tradespeople have been hard at work completing Dance Extreme’s new space.

The updated facilities, exemplary programming, and faculty will continue to contribute to its success. Dance Extreme has grown from 11,000 square feet of space to 16,000 square feet. The studio will host six large studios for parents to continue to be able to view their child’s class on our in-studio live video feed, from the comfort of either of two lobbies. The facility is also home to the DX Dance Boutique, which is open to all dancers and supplies them with all their dance needs.

Some of the new and exciting changes for our coming season include:

• The new location is at 725 Notre Dame Drive in London, ON
• UPDATED: Pre-Dance classes are now 45 minutes in length
• NEW: 12-week combined art and dance programs
• NEW: Performance Team to participate in local parades, festivals and events
• UPDATED: Ballet is no longer required for Pre-Competitive Hip Hop
• NEW: Separate parent waiting and viewing area outside the young dancers’ studio

Dance Extreme will open its new doors to the public on Saturday, September 16 for our first day of classes. Join our family for our Grand Re-Opening and for a chance to win some amazing dance-related prizes. During the interim, Dance Extreme is accepting registrations for its 2017-2018 dance season.
