Badder Bus lines are celebrating an impressive 62 years in business. They’ve serviced many hockey teams, including the London Knights, Windsor Spitfires, Sarnia Sting, and many other junior hockey teams in Southwestern Ontario, including the Strathroy Rockets and St. Thomas Stars. Meanwhile, they’ve also serviced many other teams, including FC LONDON, who currently receive transportation on their long-haul trips from Badder Bus lines.
Said FC LONDON CEO Ian Campbell: “We’ve been impressed with the value that Badder Bus brings to our road trips. It’s important that our players and staff arrive safe and well rested. Badder make sure that we can focus on our game, and they take care of the rest.”
Doug Badder, the company owner, has always had a passion for sports and was a pretty good hockey player back in the day. He always liked driving teams around, and he knows that many of his drivers enjoy it as well.
“There are a lot of funny things that happen on bus trips, and we hear a lot of interesting stories, that’s for sure,” Badder said.
Drivers enjoy getting to know the names and faces of kids who may go on to storied professional sports careers.
Doug was honoured when Corey Perry asked him to take him and the Stanley Cup home to Peterborough.
Badder is the chosen bus line for sports teams because of the professionalism of the drivers and the comfortable seating offered. There’s a good chance you’ve seen the Badder Knights bus driving around London and area.
Along with sports teams, Badder Bus Lines provides transportation for group/corporate charters, airport shuttles, church groups, service clubs and other special event trips.
