On Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Victory Branch Legion in London, Boomerz Boxing Club hosted a charity OBA (Ontario Boxing Association) show – the Freda Boom Memorial Light the Night Benefit for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. Nine London fighters fought on this card, and Ryan Laprise of London came away the winner in the main event.
