Bowling Season is upon us, and just like the start of school, parents, youth and seniors will be searching for new bags, shoes, bowling balls and accessories for the season ahead.

Your own bowling ball is the most important tool in your arsenal. As you can imagine, when putting your hand into a bowling ball (6 lbs to 16 lbs) weekly, throwing one to two balls per frame for three games, it is extremely important that the ball fit your hand perfectly. Our IBPSIA Certified Professional ball driller ensures the correct size holes, pitches and span from fingers to thumb to make sure launching your bowling ball up to 60 times an outing will leave you feeling relaxed and confident. Just like shoes, children will outgrow their span, and so it is important to ensure regularly and at the start of each season that spans are corrected.

Professional Pro Shop operators will also be checking for how you throw your ball to ensure a suggestion of the right cover stock, core and hooking potential for your game. Colour combos and scents are available to today’s 10 pin bowler. Yes, even scents – like Blueberry Muffin, Grape and Cinnamon Streussel.

The next most important tool in your bag is the perfect pair of shoes for your competition level. Just like a great pair of skates can give a figure skater the edge, shoes with interchangeable soles and heels can provide the right amount of slide to ensure consistency of your game in local centres to international houses. Comfort creates Consistency. Consistency creates Success!

Congratulations to our first year Bowling Camp Grads! Brooke Sears, Cole Sitzes, Dawson Sears, Dylan Scott, Jacob Davies, Sydney Fargnoli, and Zander Ballantine all were exceptional students, learning advanced lane reading techniques, and more importantly to work together as a team!

BOWLING NIGHT IN CANADA!
Have fun on Sundays this season and win BIG! Initiated in Toronto three years ago, this phenomenon is spreading. Pay for just one hour on the lanes any time on a Sunday, and get your passport stamped and drop your ballot into the ballot box. This year you could win a trip to Australia! Previous years trips were awarded for closer to home, like Vancouver, Chicago, and Paris, France.
