Winter means working on skills

At Centrefield Sports, ballplayers have the opportunity to improve their skills during the offseason, with the help of top-notch instructors – many of whom are former pros. Meanwhile, the facility also provides opportunities for soccer, ultimate frisbee and football!

While the offseason has kicked into high gear, Centrefield Sports offers a great opportunity to keep working hard during the long winter months. With athletes from multiple sports, including soccer, ultimate Frisbee, baseball, softball, and football coming in to train every day, it’s like you’re never truly out of season!

Our clinics kick off our winter months, where players from the ages of 5 to 17 can work on skills such as hitting, fielding, pitching and catching, while learning the fundamentals of the game. The first set of 2020 clinics run for the months of January and February, while another opportunity to train weekly with the pros is available for March and April. Registration is open to players of all skill levels, and our professional coaching staff helps players in groups and individually. Call in or register online today!

With our Fall programming wrapped up, our Rookie and Mosquito leagues have also come to an end. Our instructional leagues are run by Shane Davis and Larry Balkwill, two of many talented instructors here at Centrefield Sports (CFS). Shane and Larry will also be running the Peewee league for players born in 2007 and 2008 starting in January. Keep an eye out for an opportunity to register for our wind-up to season leagues, which runs every Saturday during the month of April.

We will also be hosting a week-long camp over March Break, which will include a progress report and a CFS t-shirt for players attending the full week. With registration opening in late January, this camp typically fills up quickly, so be sure to register your player right away!

With winter and our busiest season at CFS upon us, we encourage everyone to call in and book cages or check online before coming in, so we can accommodate everyone looking to use the facility. Space is limited, so be sure to book your teams in for their pre-season training needs ASAP to ensure you do not miss out!
