Winter fun on the slopes

Boler offers eight weeks of group ski and snowboard lessons to fit your schedule. Private lessons are also available at any time.

It seems crazy to be thinking of cold weather and snow during yet another summer heat wave (at the time of this writing), but the staff at Boler Mountain have been busy planning for the upcoming winter season. Some people may not want to hear this, but … It’s time to start thinking about snow!
Here are some ideas to get your family ready for a fun and exciting winter on the slopes at Boler Mountain:

Equipment:
Make sure to try on your equipment from last year. With growing children, they often need to be fitted with new equipment every year or two. Maybe you are looking to upgrade your equipment. Boler Mountain hosts its annual Ski & Snowboard Swap in October and it is the largest equipment sale in London. If you are looking to purchase equipment, there is a large selection of new and used skis, snowboards, boots and poles. If you are interested in selling your equipment, bring it out to Boler Mountain! The cost is $2 per item and 15% of the sale price.

Equipment Drop Off: Friday, October 21, 6:30pm-9pm and Saturday, October 22, 10am-4pm.
Ski & Snowboard Swap: Sunday, October 23, 8am-3pm. Entry tickets are passed out at 7am.

Season Passes/Lift Tickets:
If you are interested in a fun family activity for the winter, consider buying a season pass. A winter season pass gives you unlimited skiing or snowboarding with your family any day that the mountain is open. Skip the ticket line and head right to the lifts. Season Passes are offered at early bird rates until Sunday, October 23, 2016. So make sure you purchase early!

If a season pass isn’t what you’re looking for, consider a ticket booklet of lift passes. Boler has updated its ticket booklets for the 2016-2017 season, and they can now be purchased in packages of 6, 12 or 25 lift tickets. They are good for anyone to use and are valid for 6 hours on the hill.

Lessons:
Are you interested in learning how to ski or snowboard for the first time or improve on the skills you learned last winter? Boler Mountain has ski and snowboard lessons to fit with your family’s schedule. They offer 8 weeks of group lessons for children and adults of all ages. The lessons are for any ability and they will help to improve your skills on the hill. Private lessons are offered any time and day of the week. Holiday camps are also scheduled for December, January and March.

Boler Mountain is excited to see you and your family out on the slopes this winter! For more information, check out: www.bolermountain.com. Boler Mountain, 689 Griffith St. London: 519-657-8822.
