As we continue to enjoy what remains of the warmer weather, now is a great time to look ahead and prepare for the beginning of your next offseason.

The summer months were exceptionally exciting for everyone at Centrefield Sports – both indoors at our facility and also during our summer camps on the field at Byron Optimist Complex. Our building has hosted a number of teams and individuals, whether coming in from the rain, embracing the equipment we offer on a consistent basis with more space available, or just gaining a competitive edge. Our summer camps have welcomed a number of young faces, new and familiar, enjoying the sunshine and activities offered with our experienced coaching staff.

With an eye on the future, many other familiar faces are locking in their offseason reservations early by booking times on the field and in the cages. Be sure to secure your spot as soon as possible to ensure that your teams and players have the times they need!

Keep an eye out for upcoming information on all of our fall leagues and clinics, when we welcome young rookie, mosquito and peewee-aged players back into the Centrefield fold to keep them on the field beyond their summer seasons. Also keep in mind that beginning in September our hours and prices for rentals return to our fall rates. Be sure to take advantage of our extended hours starting in the fall!

As the organization’s indoor home, Centrefield Sports would also like to congratulate the Great Lake Canadians on a summer well spent. Among the program’s seven teams, three won tournament championships, with two of those coming south of the border in the U.S. Meanwhile, all seven made it to the semi-final round of their Canadian Premier Baseball League playoffs, with five of those squads landing in the championship games, and three securing CPBL titles!
