With Lou Dawg’s Southern BBQ highly involved with Coed softball, sponsoring numerous teams in various cities, it now makes perfect sense for the first annual Lou Dawg’s Coed softball TOURNAMENT. And it’s happening in London on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Glanworth Park – with proceeds going to the Brandon Prust Foundation, which funds programs that help children experiencing pain through illness, long-term care and rehabilitation.
And it will be a full weekend affair. What are some of the tournament highlights? Besides the full day of baseball (from 10am to 10pm) on Saturday, which will also feature a 50/50 draw and silent auction, Lou Dawg’s in London (519 Richmond St.) will host live music on Friday, courtesy the Matt Morgan Funk Trio. After play on Saturday, the party will continue back at the restaurant, with the presentation of the tournament trophy, good fun, and live music from Little Magic Sam. And on Sunday, it will be CJ Lee performing as the tournament participants enjoy a Sunday brunch.
