The 2022 EBBA baseball season has come to an end – but what an amazing year of baseball! With two seasons of not playing ball, finally seeing all the kids back out on fields was a welcomed site. With a lot of first-time ballplayers coming out and giving the sport a try, and having a lot of them say they will come back, was a victory on its own!
At the annual Colman Day event at Labatt Park, the smiles and laughter from all who attended was another fantastic moment. The excitement of players and coaches as they had the opportunity to play on the beautiful and historic field is just one of the many great memories of the season.
Without all the volunteers who put in many, many hours, this season would not have been as successful. If you have an interest in volunteering next year, we’re always welcoming new volunteers. Keep an eye out for the information for the AGM (Annual General Meeting)!
