London Gymnastics Academy’s competitive gymnastics team is very excited for the 2016-2017 competition season to begin! All of our dedicated LGA superstars have been training extremely hard throughout the summer and fall to get ready for upcoming competition season! From our team’s youngest competitive athletes (seven years old) right through to our oldest athlete at 17, these girls are not only dedicated athletes but are truly sisters in the gym!
Geared up for another great year, some of our higher-level athletes are excited to take the floor at this year’s Tour Selection competition in Quinte Bay on November 11-13. These girls are competing to be in the top 8 overall in their respective categories and to later represent Team Ontario in January 2017 at the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas. Good luck to these ladies!
Heat Cheerleading Competition Season Heating Up!
Our athletes have been training hard all summer to achieve new skills and to build awesome new routines! After working with some of the best choreographers in Canada, along with our amazing coaching staff, all nine teams are ready to start the competition season!
Our Mini team – Ignite (8yrs and under), Youth teams – Sparks and Flare (11yrs and under), and our Junior team – Blaze (14yrs and under) are ready to set fire to the competition floor this November in Ohio at Kalahari Resorts. This competition is always a super fun event with great team bonding in the water park!
London Heat is constantly working towards building a strong community for our athletes to grow up in. With events like Elite Camp, Trunk or Treat, Tumbling Camps and plenty of team social events, we know that our athletes feel like they belong to something special!
A huge shout out and thank you goes to our London Heat Booster club for doing such an amazing job at organizing more than a dozen fundraisers to allow our athletes to help with costs! You guys are awesome!
Recreational Gymnastics – Fun and Learning at LGA!
What an amazing start to the new season! We have so many wonderful children and families that walk through our doors each and every day … all here to learn and to grow in the exciting sport of gymnastics! We are privileged to serve each and every one of you. With nearly 150 recreational classes to choose from (from tots to adults), there is plenty of opportunity for children and adults to enjoy gymnastics at LGA! Registration for our Winter Session will begin on November 1. Classes will fill very quickly, so be sure to register as soon as you can! Registration is online only for the first week and then opens in the office on November 8.
PA Day and March Break Camps are also super popular! Registration is currently open for PA Day Camps and will open on December 1 for our March Break Camp.
