With the Outdoor season behind us, a BIG THANK YOU goes out to our House League and Competitive volunteers who returned once again to help deliver a fantastic season! Every season, parents and coaches sacrifice a significant amount of their time to bring the joy of soccer to their kids. These sacrifices are not often easy to make, but they are made to keep the love of the game going. The players and the Club appreciate it, and we thank you for your commitment!

At NorWest Soccer, we recognize the importance of putting players first. This means ensuring that every player has the best soccer experience possible to further develop their passion and interest in soccer. The unfortunate reality is that 70% of youth soccer players in Canada will quit by the age of 14! In recent years, we have adopted the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) program to try and reduce this trend in the London area. Long-Term Player Development focuses on guided development and game-realistic activities, aspects that are important in soccer skills development. The belief with Long-Term Player Development is that players will learn more and have more fun, thus increasing the likelihood that they will continue playing soccer.

Our Indoor Skills Program for the Fall/Winter season will be returning in 2017-18! This Long-Term Player Development-focused program is run by provincially and nationally certified coaches out of our own indoor facility in the Northwest part of London. Players aged U5 to U12 can have fun while developing their soccer skills, with soccer-based activities and small-sided games. More information on this program will be available in the coming weeks on our website at www.norwestsoccer.com.
