As the countdown to spring continues, Centrefield Sports is abuzz with excitement and opportunities for you to get out on the field without having to brave the winter weather outdoors.
Offering a chance for you and your team to get ready for the diamond (or the pitch, the oval, the gridiron and more), the facility welcomes new athletes and familiar faces ahead of the summer months. Call or email ahead to make reservations and secure your spots on the field and in the batting cages as the building continues to get busier.
Just before the seasons swap, Centrefield will play host to its annual March Break camp for young players looking to get better, play some ball, or just enjoy their time away from school. This year’s five-day camp is hosted by an impressive group of former professional baseball players, with Olympic, major league, and minor league experience, excited to share their passion for the game of baseball.
The beginning of spring also marks the start of new rookie and mosquito leagues, to help players get a head start before they take on the competition this summer. Don’t forget to sign up early, as space is limited and you won’t want to miss out on this fun four-week opportunity to play!
On April 28, the facility is excited to host its third-annual garage sale, with plenty of new and used items up for grabs, including baseball bats, balls, screens and other equipment. Be sure to mark the date in your calendar so you don’t miss out!
