The London White Eagles Soccer Club celebrated its 45th anniversary back in 2012, and it continues to be an active part of the Polish community in the London area. The White Eagles are one of the biggest Polish clubs in the country. The banner is home to seven teams, including four senior squads and three junior/youth teams.

The club owes a lot to its financial backers, including the Polish Cultural Association. The team’s complex is in Nilestown, and it has undergone several changes over the last five years, including the addition of an irrigation system which ensures good turf throughout the summer. Three new pitches have also been added, and there is a hall and outdoor stage for cultural events as well.

London EcoRoof is another key sponsor of the organization. EcoRoof sponsors one youth team, as well as three men’s teams. Their sponsorship helps ensure the players each receive two uniforms as well as workout clothing. It is because of great sponsors and dedicated members, like club president Marek Majewski, secretary Zibi Dobszynski, treasurer Zibi Cukrowski, and the club’s head coach, Matt Szydlowski, that the organization has maintained stability.

And because of that stability and support, the White Eagles Soccer Club is able to host the Canadian Open Championship for Polish Soccer Clubs. This tournament is big business, and it features teams from all over North America.
