Supreme Sunday Series
The Supreme Sunday Series, hosted by Forest City Volleyball Club, is back for another season of fun, inexpensive, scrimmage-based play with great competition to help your team improve their skills. The goal of the program is to provide a supplement to the regular OVA program – by allowing teams to compete in a low-stress environment at a low cost. Teams play a minimum of three timed matches on the fantastic sport courts of Supreme Courts, in south London. This facility – conveniently located just off the 401 – is the hottest location for youth volleyball in London, and we hope to keep it full of teams during our Supreme Sundays!
Acorn Volleyball
The popular Mini Acorn (ages 4-8) and Acorn (ages 9-13) Development programs sold out quickly for Fall sessions. Winter sessions will start in January. For registration info, follow FCVC on Facebook and Instagram to be the first to know so you can act fast to avoid disappointment. Acorn development is the best place to learn volleyball fundamentals and a love for the game!
FCVC Annual E-School Tournament
This annual offering has been a staple of the London and area Elementary School volleyball calendar for almost 20 years! The tournament is inexpensive and competitive, and is a highlight for young male and female volleyball athletes.
Here’s the format:
• 8 AM – First match of the day
• 4:30 PM – Awards presentation. School banners will be awarded to Gold Medal winner and finalist, and the Silver Medal winner.
• Matches run 25 minutes (5 minutes to switch courts). Within this 25-minute window, teams play one game to 25 (no cap, must win by 2 points). With the remaining time, you play a second game, hopefully giving your bench some court time. The first game to 25 will be the score of record.
• The top two teams in each pool move to the Gold Medal round. The third and fourth place teams move to the Silver Medal round.
• Play-off format is single elimination. Officials will be senior FCVC athletes. TVDSB rules of play will apply.
