Under the full leadership of Mike Ayyash, Whitecaps London will be expanding and growing the organization in the coming year, as players will represent teams (both Boys and Girls) at all age groups from U8 to U17. Mike will have full authority to continue to build the organization, through coaching selection, club standards and programs that fully integrate into the resources and opportunities with the Vancouver Whitecaps, as well as being aligned in partnership with EMSA and Ontario Soccer in the Ontario Soccer/Canada Soccer Pathway.
Whitecaps London was formed in 2016 as a not-for-profit High-Performance Soccer Club in Southern Ontario, sanctioned by the Elgin Middlesex Soccer Association and Ontario Soccer. The organization is part of the Ontario Soccer and OPDL high performance player pathway, which provides opportunities for talented youth soccer players in Ontario.
Whitecaps London recently received Ontario Soccer’s Gold Club Excellence award for 2018/2019, making them the only London and area Club to receive Ontario Soccer’s highest standard.
Whitecaps London will be a true grassroots to professional club under the direction of Mike Ayyash, and the Club will be launching new programs and entering teams in all age groups this coming fall, winter, spring and summer.
