New school year, new season!

The Little Gym of London provides programming that follows the organization’s three main tenets, which together allow for young children to develop physically, learn and problem solve, and develop social skills. And they have a whole lot of fun!

With the fall season here, it’s time to reflect on what was a record-setting summer at The Little Gym! All our day camps were full, and we had full groups in our School-Readiness programs all summer as well. Thanks to everyone in London who entrusted us with their children throughout the summer.

Our Fall season is now here, with the new school year in full swing. Starting on September 7, we have over 60 classes running per week – many of which have already filled. However, there is still space, and our programs are designed so that children can join anytime and not have to wait until the beginning of a new session. We understand if you are new and a bit apprehensive, so if you prefer to try us out before you enrol, you can do that for a small fee (which is refundable if you enrol). Or, you can enroll for 10 weeks to give it a try for a longer period (sometimes, younger children take a few weeks to acclimate to our programs).

Meanwhile, we also offer amazing Awesome Birthday Bashes on weekend afternoons. All our programs can be found online at www.tlglondoncan.com or by calling us at 519-642-0660.

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development centre for children ages four months through 12 years. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through a range of programs, including parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports skills development – plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bashes.

What sets The Little Gym apart is its Three-Dimensional approach to learning. Programs are structured around the following three tenets: ‘Get Moving!’ for physical development; ‘Brain Boost!’ for learning and problem-solving development; and ‘Citizen Kid!’ for social development. Our goal is to help children develop transferable skills and build their confidence here, so that they can do their best at home, at play, and in the classroom. Children learn life skills such as listening, taking turns, following directions, and managing emotions.

Ed & Mari Hughes, along with Gym Director Erin Hagglund and an amazing team of instructors, pride themselves on the role they play in helping children in their communities grow and develop into wonderfully well-rounded little people. As families’ lives have become busier, it’s become increasingly important that we work to maintain The Little Gym as a familiar and comfortable environment for children to develop new skills, take part in new experiences, and explore different unique talents.
