New goals for new year

Family Karate is a goal-oriented program, and its athletes will continue to work hard in 2019 to achieve new goals and continue to improve their skills

The past year has brought a lot of success to our team members at Family Karate. We saw one of our members compete in Ireland, and a couple of our coaches compete internationally as well. The majority of our members compete more locally, and they achieved quite a few goals while doing so this year. Some goals still need to be tweaked, but overall we had a great year!

The Family Karate Competition Team is holding tryouts in mid-January, with the competition season starting soon after. The coaches, team members, parents and family are all excited for what 2019 will hold in terms of competition. What goals will be set? Which ones will be met?

The answer to the latter question is always connected to effort and time put into training. In 2018, the coaches saw much effort and dedication, and so our expectations are high. We know that our team members will deliver, because of their consistent hard work that we see put forth week-in and week-out.

We can’t wait to see what 2019 brings!
