The London Silver Dolphins swim club is a collection of like-minded swimmers who are focused on fitness, fun and friendship. Our Masters swim team, which was established in 1983 by Chuck Grace (a National Individual Medley Champ!) now includes 80 swimmers. To be considered a ‘master’ in swimming, one must be at least 18 years of age (much younger than in other sports). This year, our youngest swimmer is 19. Our oldest is 88.

Along with our one-hour training sessions at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre, our team has monthly Sunday brunches and pub nights, a summer Awards Banquet, and a year-end bowling party. Swimmers choose 2, 3 or 5 swims per week, as their schedules and goals permit.

Approximately 20% of our members compete in swim meets. Every year, our competitive focus is the Provincial Championship meet in March.  Participation is more important that competition.  Our fees are modest to encourage new members.

Give us a try! Consider a trial swim. Check out our website at www.londonsilverdolphins.ca.
