The program is only three years old, but Middlesex Masters Swimming now has over 70 swimmers and is continuing to grow. The club, which runs from October to June, includes swimmers from all ability levels, right from beginner to national calibre.
Masters swimming practices are offered 13 times per week in three different cities, including London, St. Marys and Stratford. The coached program helps swimmers work on their fitness and stroke technique. Members can also join the club’s fitness challenge to help reach their goals. Membership is $625 and includes Masters Swimming Ontario registration and a free hat and t-shirt.
This year, Middlesex Swimming has launched a water polo program, which has members plenty excited. Meanwhile, the club is also introducing a new Jr. Masters program for new swimmers aged 13-17.
