The London Lynx U19 AA Ringette team is made up of a group of talented, smart and determined young ladies aged 16 to 18 from London and area. As the season has progressed, these young ladies have continued to work hard on and off the ice, with one to two practice ice times throughout the week and additional games and tournaments on weekends.

The ladies have also spent time in the gym, working on off-ice training for strength, agility and cardio, which has helped to improve their performance on the ice. The team has traveled around Ontario this year to participate in tournaments. At the time of this writing, the Lynx had competed in three tournaments and played 15 league games, as well, placing them 3rd in their division within Ringette Ontario.

As the season winds down, the girls continue to work hard with a big goal in mind – winning a Provincial Championship in March. The girls will head to Richmond Hill to take on some of the best teams from around Ontario, with the winner not only earning the gold medal but also claiming a spot at the 2020 Canada Ringette Championships hosted in Ottawa.

Everyone involved with the Lynx is excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for the team. With continuous support from parents, family, friends, coaches and teammates, anything is possible!
