The London Synchronized swimming club ended its 10-month competitive and pre-competitive season in May, but the club is far from done when it comes to swimming and training over the summer months.

“The summer is an excellent time for our club to showcase the sport to members of the London and surrounding communities,” says Louise Koza, President of LSC. “We have the opportunity to demonstrate routines throughout the summer, and we will be at a number of London Community Pools.”

The club will be swimming a variety of routines on June 21 at the Grand Opening of the Strathroy Community Pool. As well, LSC will also be hosting TRY SYNCHRO Events in August and September for girls interested in learning more about the sport and trying it for fun with club coaches. Check the LSC website (www.londonsynchroclub.ca) and our Facebook page for pool locations and times over the summer months.

If you miss the opportunity to TRY SYNCHRO, you may be interested in a fun half-day summer camp. The London Synchro Club is pleased to offer a one-week camp (June 30 to July 4) for swimmers of all skills at the Boys and Girls Club. The camp will include games, stretching, flexibility and synchro skills, and will challenge participants in a fun environment. Visit our website for camp registration and schedules.

Ontario Age Groups – Windsor, Ont.

LSC ended the season on a high note at the Ontario Age Groups Provincial Championships held in Windsor, Ontario from May 21-25. Highlights included personal bests for many of our competitive girls and a first-place finish in the Solo competition for Alyssa Gosling.

The London Synchronized Swimming Club is one of 21 regional clubs competing in Ontario. Founded in 1991, the club operates primarily out of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. LSC provides a variety of programs to swimmers who are interested in either competing at a provincial level or pre-competitive and recreational levels.
