The London Synchronized Swimming Club (LSC) competitive season is well underway, and the club is very pleased with the results so far. At the West Regionals in Brantford in March, the club’s 16-20 team placed first, and one of our two 13-15 teams placed third. Meanwhile, a number of other teams placed in the top 6.

Most recently, LSC attended the Hilton Worldwide Invitational Meet at York University on April 11-13. The meet was an opportunity for all clubs throughout Ontario to compete before the Ontario Age Group Championships in May.  Our teams did exceptional, including one of our 13-15 teams that had their best swim of the season and placed second. Alyssa Gosling placed first solo and with her partner, Taylor Mouliakis, also took home gold in the duet.

Our pre-competitive teams have also been in recreational meets, including the Burlington Extravaganza and the Ontario Masters Championships. These meets allow our pre-competitive teams to experience competition and prepare to try out for next season’s teams.

LSC will be hosting competitive tryouts on May 28. If you are interested in the sport, are a strong swimmer, and love the idea of gymnastics and dance in the water, check out our website for location and details at www.londonsynchroclub.ca or like us on Facebook.

The London Synchronized Swimming Club is one of 21 regional clubs competing in Ontario. Founded in 1991, the club operates primarily out of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. LSC provides a variety of programs to swimmers who are interested in either competing at a provincial level or pre-competitive and recreational levels.
