The London Aquatic Club concluded a busy fall schedule by sending a team of 70 swimmers to Pointe Claire, Quebec from Dec. 11-14 for one of the premier age group swimming competitions in eastern Canada. There were 1,200 swimmers from 30 clubs competing, with LAC swimmers hitting the water over 700 times throughout the competition, including individual and relay, preliminary and final events. In close to 70 percent of those races, London swimmers performed personal bests, and there were close to 50 Top 3 finishes overall for LAC swimmers.

There are plenty of other exciting LAC events, both recently passed and upcoming, including: Our annual fall invitational swim meet, which attracted more than 700 swimmers from across southwestern Ontario; An exclusive coaching workshop led by Executive Director of the American Swim Coaches Association John Leonard; Two LAC swimmers competing at the inaugural Ontario Junior International swim meet at the just-opened Toronto Pan-Am Sports Centre; and our annual 12&Under Celebration swim meet.
