London Aquatic Club swimmers have once again been busy training and racing at competitions both locally and further afield.

A total of 195 LAC swimmers competed at the Nothers Invitational swim meet at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre Nov. 25-27. An impressive 740 new personal bests were established, with 85 swimmers racing to personal bests in 100% of their events. In all, 37 swimmers collected a total of 89 individual medals. LAC is fortunate to have been sponsored by Nothers Awards for almost 20 years.

Two weeks later, 45 swimmers made the trip to Pointe Claire, Quebec to compete with some of the top swimmers from across eastern Canada. There was plenty of exciting racing, and almost 200 more personal best times established.

In 2017, LAC will be hosting its annual 12 & Under Celebration (Jan. 21-22), as well as the Western Ontario Regional Championships (Feb. 24-26), both at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
