Hockey is Canada’s national winter sport. However, for the Komoka Kings’ organization, hockey is a year-round operation. We always have our sticks on the ice – even after the final faceoff of the season and through the offseason.
“The entire Komoka Kings club, from the front office to the behind the scenes team, stickhandle between the off months to make improvements to the fan experience, build upon our successes, fix weaknesses and make necessary changes to grow stronger and better in all areas,” says Owner and GM Roop Chanderdat.
“Our team had a remarkable inaugural season in Komoka and made it into the first round of the playoffs. The goal of the Komoka Kings for the 2018-2019 season is to enhance the entire fan experience.”
The Kings have a new coaching staff, led by Head Coach Ron Horvat and Assistant Coaches Mike Reati and Chris Golem. Together, they have more than 50 years of experience behind the bench.
The Kings believe we have made some great strides by signing new players and bringing back fan favourites to strengthen the team.
We’ve added to our off-ice team, with a Play by Play commentator, a new game announcer, a merchandiser for the Kings’ Haberdashery, plus many other exciting changes, like our website (www.komokakings.com), Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, which will be ready for the first drop of the puck to begin the season.
The Komoka Kings – A team above all. Above all, a team!
