Ontario independent wrestling promotion Smash Wrestling is taking the wrestling world by storm. Since its inception in 2012, Smash Wrestling has been rapidly picking up steam, leading to the recent announcement of an international TV deal with The Fight Network.

The city of London has become a key ingredient for the company. The London Music Hall is considered sacred ground, creating a buzz and atmosphere that feels larger than life.

Previously recorded events held in London are now featured weekly on The Fight Network, to 30 million subscribers, airing Thursdays at 10PM following Global Force Wrestling (TNA) Impact. Currently scheduled events, including the September 14 event at Fanshawe College and “Fight Knight” at the London Music Hall on October 1 will be taped for The Fight Network, as will all future events.

Featuring the best talent from across the province, country and some of independent wrestling’s biggest stars, Smash Wrestling brings a unique blend of long-form storytelling that mixes the hottest independent wrestlers from all over the world with the Canadian superstars of tomorrow.

Many of those superstars have local links, including the Smash Wrestling Champion, Tyson Dux. Dux, widely regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers in Canada, is a London resident. Dux was featured in the very popular WWE Cruiserweight Classic in 2016, representing Canada.

Another of Smash Wrestling’s top stars, Cody Deaner, also has London-area roots. GFW/TNA star Allie (formerly Cherry Bomb) is originally from London, and homegrown talent Dillon Andrews is a London resident, while many members of the Smash staff call London home.

London’s only pro wrestling company, Smash Wrestling has created lasting and cooperative relationships with Fanshawe College and the London Comic Con, as well as several local businesses who have become strong supporters.

Smash Wrestling is proud to call London home!
