The annual awards night on December 7 will honour five members of the Forest City coaching staff for their continued contribution to the development of London and area volleyball players.
Sean Pellow, coach of the defending national championship 17U girls team, will receive the OVA Recognition Award, given for significant contributions at the regional or provincial level for a minimum of five years.
Bob Mann, coach of one of our 16U girls teams, will be presented with the OVA Achievement Award for significant contributions to Ontario volleyball for over 10 years.
Lloyd Rumble, 16U coach, will be the recipient of the Diane Wood Special Achievement award, which recognizes his more than 15 years of dedication to youth volleyball.
Jane and Vaughan Peckham have been chosen as inaugural winners of the Paul and Shelley Brownstein Builders Award for their long-time contribution in the area of education, recreation and development of club volleyball with Forest City.

Competitive teams off to fast start
With a few OVA competitions already in the books during the 2013-14 season, Forest City Volleyball Club teams are proving once again to be the class of the field. FCVC Teams have captured medals in all age divisions: 13U Silver, 14U Gold and Silver, 15U Gold and Silver, 16U Silver and Bronze, 17U Silver, and 18U Silver.
