FCVC athletes enjoy Provincial team success

Forest City Volleyball Club was well-represented at the Provincial level this summer, as 10 of the 50 female athletes invited to the Ontario High Performance Centre were from FCVC, including: Danielle Bentley (Alumni, U of Toronto), Chelsea Bott (18U), Michelle Chelladurai (17U), Anna Feore (18U), Danielle Grasman (18U), Jordan Lake (17U), Kate McIlmoyle (17U), Meghan Morelli (17U), Carley Nugteren (17U), and Logan Potter (18U).
Meanwhile, Danielle Bentley, Michelle Chelladurai, Anna Feore, Kate McIlmoyle, Meghan Morelli, Carley Nugteren and Logan Potter were selected to represent Team Ontario at the National Team Challenge Cup in Winnipeg. Congratulations to Michelle Chelladurai for being selected as a tournament all-star!
New President takes the reins
Chuck Chelladurai is taking over the role of club President this season, to continue the tradition of excellence set by his predecessor, Vaughan Peckham.
Chuck has been involved with FCVC for more than a decade, as a coach, parent volunteer and Board member. He brings his endless energy to his new position and promises to ensure that the Forest City Volleyball Club will continue along the road of excellence. Welcome, Chuck!

Tryouts for 2014-2015 Season
Competitive team tryouts for the new season begin on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at Fanshawe College, and continue throughout September.
