There may be snow on the ground, but it’s not too cold to start thinking about baseball. The 2015 Eager Beaver Baseball Association season will be the organization’s 61st, and EBBA will be celebrating its 60th year of operation. EBBA has been providing a fun and affordable baseball program to London youth since its inception in 1955.

This year we are hoping to continue on the success of the House League programs. We are also very excited to announce that for the upcoming 2015 season, the former EBBA London Tecumsehs, the Southwest Scorpions, and the South London competitive programs will be amalgamating to form the NEW London Tecumsehs.

During the 2014 season, EBBA once again held the annual Frank Colman Day at Labatt Memorial Park. Players from T-Ball and up got the opportunity to play on the big field, and it was a beautiful sight. The London Majors also invited a squad of T-Ball’ers and Rookie players to run on the field for the opening ceremonies.

As always, House League programs fill up pretty quickly, especially with the recent popularity of our Little Sluggers, T-Ball and Rookie programs. Little Sluggers is a fun introduction to baseball for 4-to-6 year-olds, and it has gone to a waiting list over the past couple of years. The first round of registrations for the 2015 season will be held on January 24 and February 27 from 10am-2pm at the league office in the TBlock building at 652 Elizabeth Street, opposite McMahen Park. Meanwhile, we will be working very, very hard to bring a great experience to all players during the upcoming season.
