When Middlesex Swimming’s 13-and-under team headed to Tillsonburg for the Acapulco Invitational meet (hosted by the Ingersoll Speed Sharks), it marked the first time that many of the team’s swimmers had participated in a competitive meet. Certainly, there were some nerves, but the experience was a fantastic one for the young swimmers.

“They were super excited to compete, and they’re now looking forward to a great season,” said Brooke, one of the team’s coaches (along with Coach Tim). The pair have been working hard to build up the 13-and-under program, and they’ve already had a lot of success.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to coach our younger swimmers and teaching them the values and discipline that it takes to compete in the sport for life,” said Brooke. “We’re definitely off to a great start, and we’re happy with the results early in the season.”
