When the London-St. Thomas Croatia youth soccer program got back into the swing of things in 2012, they knew they had something special. And it’s because of the dedication of the players, coaches and parents that the program is what it is today.

The U9s team this year focused on the development of skills and how to play the game, without focusing on the standings. The U10s squad had a very good season, starting the year by winning the London Optimist Indoor tournament. They finished the season undefeated and won both the league championship and the Challenge Cup championship.

The U11 Red team had a bounce-back season. They played hard all year, finished in second place and were runner ups in the Challenge Cup. The U11 Blue team also had a very successful season. Though they ended up in the middle of the standings, they enjoyed a strong Challenge Cup.

The U12s had a strong year despite a lot of changes, including a new coach and many new players. They played hard all season and were runner ups in the Tillsonburg ‘In It to Win It’ tournament.

The program is very excited for the 2014 season, as it is looking to add a U15 team. With all the continued dedication of the volunteers, coaches, parents and athletes, the London-St. Thomas Croatia soccer program looks to be in excellent shape, not just for next year but for many years to come.
