The 26th season of Forest City Volleyball Club (FCVC) is now underway! And the longest-running volleyball club in London, established in 1992, continues to grow in size and strength! We want to thank you, our amazing community of athletes and supporters, for continuing to be a part of the FCVC family – on and off the court.
The unparalleled lineup of talented FCVC coaches has allowed us to run 22 Competitive teams for the 2017-18 season! All training is underway, and we look forward to the opportunity to develop these young athletes for both volleyball and life.
FCVC’s popular Acorn Volleyball development program sold out for all Fall programs, so please register early for Winter programs starting in January to avoid disappointment! Acorn Volleyball provides our young athletes with age and skill-appropriate exercises and drills to help enhance hand-eye coordination, movement patterns, agility, strength, and posture, all while developing a significant appreciation for volleyball and physical activity in general.
All FCVC coaches have an abundance of experience and credentials in competitive volleyball and high-performance development. They follow the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model with a great coach-to-athlete ratio to give players the best start possible to their volleyball careers.
The Forest City Volleyball Club pathway begins with Mini Acorn (4 to 8-year-olds), which prepares them for advancement to Acorn (9 to 13-year-olds), where they gain skill and gameplay experience to be identified for our competitive program for 12 to 18-year-olds. Visit our website today!
