The London Aquatic Club concluded its 2013 fall schedule with some great performances at competitions in London, Winnipeg and Montreal. LAC hosted 800 swimmers from across Southern Ontario at the Nothers Invitational from Nov. 22-24. The club won the Small Team High Point Trophy at the Prairie Winter Meet in Winnipeg, and also sent 77 swimmers to Pointe Claire in mid-December for a meet attended by over 1,000 swimmers from across Canada.
Coming up in 2014 are the Western Ontario Regional Championships and the Eastern Canadian Championships, which will both take place in Windsor. In late February, meanwhile, LAC is hosting the Ontario Provincial Championships at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
The LAC continues to grow, now with over 260 competitive swimmers ranging in age from 7-19.We give every swimmer the opportunity to be the best they can be in a positive, caring, and safe environment. The Club has consistently produced Olympians and Paralympians every four years since 1964.
